About

Hi, I’m Steven.

I started Epicurious Travel as a passion project aimed at making customized travel experiences accessible to the everyday traveler. At my core, I’m a people person. I love getting to know my client’s unique travel styles and find joy in crafting itineraries for them that serve as the foundation for lasting memories.

A little about me: travel is my passion. Ten years ago, I took my first trip out of the country to Israel, and it changed my life forever. Since then, I’ve been hooked. The thrill of exploring new cultures, places, and food is addicting to me. This world is too big to stay in one place for too long.

Over time, I’ve become the de facto trip planner for all my friends — planning trips across the world from Japan to Barbados, each time creating lasting memories that I’ll never forget. Eventually, with some encouragement from my freeloading first “clients,” I decided to double down on my passion and turn it into a way of life. Now I’m doing what I love most in life.

On top of being the trip planner of choice, I have also become known as the go-to foodie friend. My trips are usually stacked with top-notch local cuisine from spots ranging from high-end to hole-in-the-wall. Whatever the budget, I’ll find food that you’ll dream about years later. I’m especially good at knowing how and when to get a spot at some of the hottest tables around the globe.

I’ll meet you where you’re at. Come to me at any point in your planning process and we’ll work together to round out the perfect itinerary that you and your stomach deserve.

What does epicurious mean?

Epicurious simply means “curious about food, especially wishing to try new dishes and cuisines.” The name echoes my love for uncovering the best food and drinks around the world, acting as the centerpiece for the experiences that I curate for my clients.

As an epicurean, I’ve got my ear to the ground for the global foodie scene. My clients especially love my knack for finding local hot spots that evade most tourist lists. If you’re a current, thriving, or aspiring foodie, we’ll work especially well together.
